Well how bout the updates...

Sue and Arnie still love it here, sorry kids, my sister and brother, their staying here... I guess if you don't like it, you can build a home next to mine. The two behind me sold though...
  • Steph, Pat and Cede are all doing fine, they went Camping a lot this summer. By trailer, stick it in a lot by the lake and they are ready to go.. I remember when Teresa and I used to camp allot.
  • Chaz is still in his new home and we rarely see him, cept maybe a few dinners here and there and he's has to keep coming and fixing the dang computers. He is still programing and writing code
  • Ash, Josh and the boys are doing great, you can click on her link cause she does a lot better than I do with keeping the site updated...
  • Rach and Luke, I don't know, has anyone seen them? She starting teaching this year and is just buried...
Swen bought a "Hot Tub" and put it in MY BACKYARD? I don't mind though, it's so nice after a long day at work...
  • Joe is living the free life, he's at the age where ya just gotta figure it out and get on with it... Keep on trucking kid, 21 is the start of a wonderful life... (<:

  • Bug is home, she's been gone a few weeks, but it's fun having her home again.. She was sick when she got home, so we took her to the doctor, bad tonsils, they have been giving her problems for a few weeks... She is scheduled to have them out next week... Losa Ice Cream for her... Yipppeeeee!!!!!!!
Well that's the down and dirty, on with life again...

Ok It's May and I'm a loser

Well here we are in the Middle of May and I'm just doing an update...
Well February, March and April were filled with Birthdays around here Steph, Chaz, Ash and Rachael. Joe is in May and celebrated his birthday yesterday... Enough on the Birthdays.
May is a good month, my sister came to stay here with us for awhile... They are from the mountains of California... Big Bear, Lake Arrowhead. Sue and Arnie are retired and really are good people. They already have been a big help around here...

I also went back to the Kentucky Derby, a day late and dollar short... We got to seat in the suites and have dinner...

From the Suites:
This was a beautiful view of the track... We went to dinner just inside that was a really nice buffet of Prime Rib and Turkey...

The next night we we were at a baseball game and were given the opportunity to meet a great ball player:
JIM ABBOT: Link about Jim Abbot

What a great guy, he was very humble and delivered a great message to all of us...

After our meeting, I was able to get a picture of Jim and I together... Awesome Dude!!!

Yeah he closed his eyes, but what the hey, I got the picture right???

Well a couple of other events I'll let you peek at were Cede got the most awesome student of the month award and Rachael graduated from Collage and is now teaching school...

Congrats to both girls for a job well done...

I'll try to keep it updated this time, but until the next posting:
Take Care and Have a Great Day.

March Update

Ok shoot me...  I know I missed January, February and almost March...  Geesh,  where has the time gone.  I'm still trying to figure out where these guys get time to update the blog daily...  Anyhow...

January was my dad's birthday, I had to stop and look around at my family to see the mark left on this world... There is a huge mark with all my brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and Greats.

In my little family we are all doing well.

February and March

Well Steph is still doing really well.  She is moving into some good positioning with AFLAC, and she is very involved in trying to bring the "ON-Line" schooling to Utah... I'm helping a little...  Cede got the Student of the Month award in her school and made us all very proud...  She turned 32 this year.  Gawd I'm getting old... Steph, Pat and Cede are  all doing well.

Chaz turns 31 next week and moved back with us for awhile,  He gets Hayden from time to time and spends as much time as he can with him...  Hayden and Xander are quite the buddies... They play hard and sleep all night when they get together... Chaz and Swenson are building a huge computer... 7 terabytes...  They are calling this one SAM,  they still have their little 3 terabyte server called KIT...  We now have the outside cameras on KIT 24 hours a day,  Maybe we can catch the thugs who keep doing bad things in our yard...

Ashley is pushing the 30 mark and still runs an active life.  She is doing good and now has the two boys.... Xander and Fred... Two totally different personalities...  Fred is cute as hell and just as bossy...  Ash Josh and the boys  are all doing well in their home in Clinton...

Rachael got her degree and is now teaching... She loves what she does and I'm very proud that she got her teaching degree,  she is still living in Ogden with Luke.

Then there’s Sweny, the golden boy... The kid has the best luck and is so good to his mother...  He is currently looking at Home investments to buy and fix up... He knows how to handle his money...  He still works at the RX and loves his new job but sometimes misses the ICM spot...

Joe has moved to the basement and set up his room for gamers... He is learning about life, slow, but learning.  He is doing good now and holding his own...  He has been on track for a full year, got his license back and loving life again.

Heather is still the social butterfly, guess it’s part of being in those teenage years...  Hopefully she will see the world as it is and settle in for the long haul... LOL   She is so cute...

Last but not least, our Hannah,  full of life, bossy, demanding and very loved..."Spoiled"  LOL Teresa don't like that word...  She knows what she wants and gets what she needs.

Happy Birthday to "February" Rachael,  "March"  Stephanie and Ashley and Chaz in April...

Teresa and I are both doing well; we both travel a bit, me more so...  We still love our house and have made it quite the home...  Come see us and say high...

Well I'll try and stay on track....

Jauary updates

Well here we are in another year of the new century.   I remember when I was 16 and I wanted to be 21 so bad… My aunty Joy told me, you should not wish to get older, once you get there, then you’ll wish you were back to 16 again… Man was she right…

Anyhow, January was a quick month,  Hannah had her birthday and is now 9 years old.

Baby Fred is a month old and growing up already… Nothing real exciting to report, so I thought I’d post some old pictures… My niece “Terry” asked me to scan some in for her and send them to her for a video… I got a chuckle out of some of them, so I thought I’d share them with you too…

This is my ever so loving niece and her husband...  I told her not to marry him, but would she listen?

This is my beautiful Bride and my wonderful sister...  You'd think I live in LA LA land eh?

This would be the Walker clan, yep that is me on the bottom, the nerdy looking kid...

This is my ole man, he's the one who taught me tease and be the tormenter...
This would be the Walker clan in the 40's, Nope I anint that old... Hey Walker kids, reconize anyone??? LMAO
Like I said, the tormentor,  he's got my cousin in a death grip tickel hold...  Poor Joy...
This one is my cousin Jeff at his wedding, Marianne looks like a cousin from the other side of the family...  Donut, aka Jody...
Check out that hair due...  Bet Jeff would like some of it back now...  Same as me...

As you can see, good pic's, old memories...?
That wraps it up for another month of this site,  hope to see you all nextmonth...

Love ya all
Chuck

December Updates

Well here we are in December, can you believe it?
Just as a quick update, Teresa and I celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary...  Where on earth did 2008 go...  or for that matter, where did the last 34 years go???
Alls well in the Walker house and just getting through my vacation.  So I thought this would be a good time to update the site...

The little ones had their outing on the Polar Express.  They got to meet Santa, his elves and Mrs Claus...  With Santa on the train, it will surely be a memory they will not forget...
Little Fred stayed home with Sobo and Paco, the rest of the kids had a blast..

On a different outing:
Once again we held the annual Crab and Steak fest,  this year there were 40 people show up for dinner..  The big change this year was we did the Prime Rib instead of steaks.  I enjoyed it a lot more because I was not cooking and enjoyed the company... It was my first shot at prime rib, it musta been pretty good because all 20 lbs were consumed along with the 40 lbs of Crab...   Needless to say the party was a success and everyone had a good time.  We had family, and adopted family this year and the mix was really very good.  Good conversation and food make for great memories.  Sometimes you wonder if it's worth it all to do these big dinners, however, all you have to do is attend one of them to know that it's the only thing you take with you.
THE MEMORIES!!!  SO yeah, I still think it's worth, so rest easy everyone, 2009 is on the horizon... LOL

As you can see by the young adults table,  there was plenty to go around.    The leftovers were the empty cookers, pots, pans and dishes..   So I would say the Prime Rib was a success...

Last on the list this month will be Hannah's birthday,  that is December 31st and will be in Next months updates...

So for now, I bid you all a Happy New Year.  May you find a way to get all of your wishes, but may God grant you all of your needs in 2009
Love ya all
Chuck
